()’s Chief Financial Officer Rachel Addison is to leave the fast-growing digital publisher on 31 October 2021 and will be replaced by Penny Ladkin-Brand, who was the CFO for five years previously.
Addison joined in June 2020 as part of the acquisition of TI Media, since when Ladkin-Brand has been Chief Strategy Officer.
Future added that results for the year to end September 2021 will be at the top end of its expectations as strong growth in digital advertising has continued.
In July, the magazine group upgraded its operating profit forecast to between £183.5mln and £193.6mln compared to £93.4mln a year ago.
“Continued momentum in digital advertising with sustained yield growth more than offsetting the impact of strong comparators on audience growth,” said the company in a statement.
Future added that the acquisition of Dennis and its titles including The Week UK / The Week US, MoneyWeek, Kiplinger, Science & Nature, PC Pro, Minecraft World, and Coach has now been completed.
Zillah Byng-Thorne, CEO of Future, said: “I am pleased to report that the continued successful execution of our strategy puts us on track to report another year of strong revenue and profit growth.
“I am confident that the acquisition of Dennis will help to accelerate our progress and am delighted to welcome the team to Future.”
