Future takes knock from resignation of finance chief | Business


The finance chief of Future has resigned after less than a year and a half in the job, prompting a drop in the specialist publisher’s share price.

Rachel Addison will leave the acquisitive company at the end of the month and is to be replaced by its former chief financial officer.

Addison, 41, joined Future after the takeover of TI Media, the publisher behind an array of consumer magazines such as Horse & Hound, Country Life and Homes & Gardens.

Having “played an important role in Future’s significant growth and development” since June last year, Addison was quitting, the company said. It did not provide a reason for her departure.
